Uploading Site to Host Gator (With File Zilla)?

I used File Zilla to upload my site folder under the public_html folder in hostgator.

I pointed my domain name to the host gator servers.

I even tried creating a new site folder, and connecting through the ftp.mydomain.com way in filezilla…

I waited 24 hours. It doesn’t seem to be working!

When I enter my domain name, it just shows a hostgator page.

What do I do!?

ps. I have the index.html file within the folder of my site, that’s IN the public_html folder. SHould I put it only in the ppublic html folder rather than in the site folder within the public html folder?

Chosen Answer:

How about if you rename index.html to be index1.html?
